I love carnival. I love Soca. I am Jamaican πŸ‡―πŸ‡². It writes itself. In my lifelong carnival chase, it only makes sense that I went home one time for the one time. Aight, so boom! πŸ’₯

On the cusp of this genre, solidifying it's fan base with each new hit, are the Ultimate Rejects. Their hit "Full Extreme", and the tens of subsequent road-mixes, won over the 2017 Carnival season.

Sharing and exploring music is intimate, so this is a smedium deal for me. I've been othered and called weird for liking "white people music" for so long that it takes effort to really enjoy and align myself with the values represented in mainstream music. I take suggestions from people whose interests and lifestyles resonate with me.
